*responsibilities and attributions*
- meeting the new sale goal
- retention of the assigned portfolio (renewals)
- assertive relationship with the portfolio of firms and assigned agents
- visits to offices and agents.
- constant negotiation and analysis of the business (externally and internally)
- communication, support, accompaniment, training as a front between metlife and our assigned business partners (offices and agents).
- contact with brokers nationwide.
*key responsibilities*:
- support the financial planning and analysis function for the latin america region
- provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business performance
- analyze financial data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- stay up-to-date with technological advancements and incorporate them into financial processes
- regular interaction with financial associates in our local country operations, associates from other metlife departments
- mentor and develop team members to support their growth and development
- coordinate the collection, consolidation and preparation of financial and non-financial reporting packages
- provide preliminary quantitative & qualitative analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual results
- support monthly projection and annual planning process by developing, maintaining, issuing and collecting various walks and supplemental templates
- manage routine and ad-hoc hp system maintenance through interactions with global finance support (gfs)
- support quarterly financial summaries (qfs) process through review and aggregation of actual information
- provide direction and support to country fp&a on any hp and reporting related requests
- manage ad-hoc projects as assigned and document processes
*qualifications*:
- bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- strong analytical, problem-solving skills, project management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- eagerness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- fluency in english and spanish; portuguese is required
- experience using ai tools to enhance efficiencies
