– cimmyt is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional to work in the bsd department in the operations chapter.
the position will be based at cimmyt's headquarters in texcoco, near mexico city.

responsibilities
oversee and coordinate all f&b outlets and services (cafeteria, dining hall, catering, food truck, grocery store, vending machines).
manage the department's budget, cost control, revenue, and profitability.
develop and update the product and service catalog.
lead menu planning and control, including nutritional information and communication materials.
negotiate with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries.
control inventories and fixed assets.
coordinate uniforms, equipment, and work materials for staff.
ensure compliance with hygiene standards and certifications (distintivo h, safety regulations).
analyze satisfaction surveys and complaints, and implement improvements.
propose and develop strategies to increase revenue.
qualifications
bachelor's degree in gastronomy, hospitality management, or related field.
minimum 5 years of experience in f&b management, including multi-outlet operations.
knowledge of international cuisine, service protocols, and distintivo h.
intermediate english (b1).
advanced ms office skills.
strong negotiation and leadership skills.
