Goal
Perform the role of manufacturing engineer by organizing staff, collaborating with support areas, and maintaining constant communication within the heat treatment department in order to achieve production targets with the required quality.
Principal Activities
Initiate, drive, and coordinate the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing technologies for new and existing products using statistical measures in terms of quality, efficiency, sustainability, and robustness.
Conduct process research to adjust equipment and process configurations taking into account the product, materials, tools, and location.
Review new technology launches in terms of product design/material feasibility, impact on cycle time, tooling definition, and quality.
Support production to identify and resolve production issues in a sustainable manner and initiate and carry out production data-driven problem solving using statistical and digital measures.
Create necessary documentation on manufacturing processes, including equipment/technology authorization documents and setup instructions.
Apply commonly defined safety standards and equipment and take into account international and regional standards related to manufacturing technology.
Develop and negotiate equipment and tool specifications with potential suppliers from the standard supplier portfolio, including time and investment, and specify validation requirements and validate production equipment, manufacturing technologies, and related tools.
Experience, knowledge and skills
Bachelor's degree: Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Advanced English (minimum B2).
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Minitab, and SAP.
Availability and flexible hours.
Proactivity and desire to develop.
Management of production personnel.
General knowledge of production processes.
