The ideal candidate is a certified public accountant (cpa/cp) with strong manufacturing finance experience, deep understanding of standard costing and inventory processes, and experience supporting erp implementations and cpm/reporting systems.
key responsibilities
* support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
* assist with preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with us gaap and company policies.
* oversee and analyze: standard costing, inventory valuation, ppv/muv analysis, cost roll processes, manufacturing variances, inventory reconciliations and cycle counts.
* support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
* coordinate and support internal and external audits, including audit requests, reconciliations, supporting documentation, and communication with auditors.
* partner closely with operations, supply chain, and plant leadership teams to support business decisions and improve financial performance.
* develop and improve financial processes, reporting tools, and operational kpis.
qualifications
* certified public accountant (cpa/cp) required.
* bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
* minimum 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* strong knowledge of: cost accounting, standard costing, inventory management and controls, financial reporting, us gaap,taxes and compliance, audit support and coordination
