how you’ll make an impact:
the main objective of the role is to ensure the clarity, coherence, standardization and veracity of fitch’s publications, that texts are well written, revising their grammar, spelling and syntax, and that they are comprehensible for readers.
1. proofread grammar, spelling and syntax to correct mistakes
2. standardize publications and apply fitch’s style
3. revise consistency in data and ensure it is correct
4. correct graphs and tables accordingly to fitch’s global standards
5. resolve directly with the authors doubts regarding the text (such as data inconsistencies, fitch’s style aspects, or unclear ideas)
6. check that graphs and tables are correctly referenced through the text
7. support accuracy and style standards in the publishing process.
8. modify paragraphs to achieve a clearer message for the reader
9. fulfill the function of the ultimate quality guardian prior to the publishing process
you may be a good fit if:
10. fluency in spoken and written english
11. excellent writing and spelling
12. specific knowledge of the grammar rules
13. financial editing experience
14. ability to make deep revisions, capability to focus, and detail orientation
15. capability to ensure high-quality in revisions, even in short deadlines
