To strengthen our finance, control and legal mexico hub, we are looking for a business analyst to complete our management accounting team.

*key responsibilities*:
- provide day-to-day support to finance end users across latam.
- implement finance technology solutions in line with functional stakeholders’ needs and the management accounting it product group roadmap.
- support business integration initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, and divestures. - support digital transformation within finance is/it
- deliver is/it finance project on time and within budget.
- translate technical requirements into functional specifications for the business finance team.
- support period end close and forecasting activities performed by the markets ensuring efficient use and adequate performance of the relevant it tools.
- analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications.
- deliver training to the end users, deployment and support teams
- identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation.
- ability to drive continuous improvement.
*required profile*:
- bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; m.b.a. preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area.
- project management experience. - experience working in an agile/devops environment using design-thinking methodology.
- strong understanding of basic system engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards.
- understanding of various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, waterfall).
- excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies.
- deep understanding of the it landscape in the functional area.
- deep knowledge of sap controlling modules profitability analyzes, cost center accounting,
- profit center and project accounting.
- working knowledge of dynamic forecasting tools.
- working knowledge of business analytics tools (power bi, tableau etc.) is also desirable.
- experience with effective communication in english at different levels of the organization.
- experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams.
- experience with other finance related modules within or outside of sap, master data governance knowledge and fluency in portuguese are a plus.
