note: this job is based on field sales with travel to rural and remote areas required.
responsibilities
* develop and maintain an organized list of accounts in the territory, ranking the accounts based on opportunity and patient counts.
* solicit, secure and develop new accounts, drive sales and establish key customer relationships.
* meet or exceed betty’s eddies sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
* monitor customer and competitor trends and provide a periodic market analysis.
* maintain regular communication and perform a rotation of dispensary visits with customers.
* schedule, coordinate and execute events to promote brands and educate partners and patients on products.
* develop promotional plans, advertising programs, and educational initiatives to drive sales of betty’s eddie’s with customers.
* direct accounts in proper and effective merchandising and consumer awareness of brands by: guiding shelf management positions; developing and executing brand merchandising standards including visibility and display; maintaining and updating a database of contacts for each retail partner; creating excitement and coordinating launches of new betty’s flavors and innovation products; soliciting wholesale orders and assisting in customer-facing fulfillment including delivery sequencing; projecting a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community; embodying the mission, culture, values, and supporting our goals and objectives.
requirements
* high level of professionalism and experience working within a well-organized, sales-oriented company.
* highly organized with keen attention to detail and good time management skills.
* entrepreneurial drive and proven 4-5 years of demonstrated success in b2b/cpg field sales.
* strong networking skills required for lead generation/business development.
* business acumen and sharp negotiating skills; considered a "closer" with evidence of direct sales achievements.
* excellent computer skills including word, excel, and powerpoint.
* knowledge of and experience in the cannabis industry preferred, but not required.
* exhibit high ethical and professional standards; honesty, integrity, and behaviors aligned with company values.
* must have own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance; travel on all road surfaces (gravel/dirt) with a four-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle recommended.
* willing to travel as needed.

* must be compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
* must possess valid driver’s license with daily access to working vehicle.
* must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
* must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry.
working conditions
after-hours work required for business meetings, events and customer relations including nights and weekends as needed. This position requires frequent travel within the assigned territory.
education
bachelor’s degree and/or at least 2-4 years’ experience in b2b wholesale sales preferred.
