our challenge:
as a senior cloud architect, you will design, implement, and govern secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure using aws, azure, or gcp. You will lead cloud adoption strategies that bridge business needs with technical solutions, driving migration, optimization, and infrastructure as code (iac) initiatives.
the role:
responsibilities:
* architecture & strategy: define and document multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies, standards, and architectures aligned with overall business goals.
* infrastructure design & migration: lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions, including migrating on-premises applications to the cloud.
* governance & optimization: enforce cloud governance models to ensure compliance with security policies while optimizing performance, reliability, and costs.
* technical leadership: provide technical guidance to engineering teams, review code and infrastructure, and mentor junior staff to enhance capabilities.
* automation: implement infrastructure as code (iac) initiatives using tools such as terraform or bicep to automate cloud infrastructure management.
* collaboration: work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and deliver customized cloud solutions.
requirements:
* extensive experience (6-10+ years) in cloud platforms such as aws, azure, or gcp.
* strong technical skills including network architecture, database design, containerization technologies (docker, kubernetes), and ci/cd pipelines.
* professional-level cloud certifications, e.g., aws certified solutions architect – professional or azure solutions architect expert.
* excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to guide teams and work collaboratively across functions.
