*job summary*:
the systems analyst provides technical and analytical support to the business as part of the it production support team. This includes understanding business requirements, implementing solutions, including creating high-level technical designs for moderate to complex maintenance efforts by analyzing requirements and systems architecture, collaborating with technology partners and adhering to tool standards with little assistance.
The systems analyst assesses, documents, and mitigates design constraints and/or risks and performs reviews to develop and support optimal it solutions.
*key responsibilities*:
- support critical file monitoring processes and handling issues to resolution.
- analyze and document incident details for the appropriate audience, including identifying resolutions and managing remediation efforts.
- collaborates with development teams to create the high-level technical designs for moderate complexity maintenance efforts by analyzing and tracing designs to requirements (business, functional, and nonfunctional) and systems architecture; maintain artifacts
- identifies systems and technical constraints, potential technology risks, and document possible mitigation strategies for moderate complexity issues.
- works with business analysts to write functional designs, and understand business requirements and process flows for moderate complexity issues; understands patterns, methodologies and system modeling
- for moderate complexity issues, validate code to designs and requirements. Participates in code walkthroughs, inspections, and reviews
- assists with detailed estimating and milestone planning for complex support needs.
- facilitate the resolution of system deficiencies with the design team and project management; support the business in researching technical questions
- evaluates proof of concepts (pocs) and validate that code delivers design intent.
- partners with business partners across multiple areas of the business and across multiple projects to ensure new/revised technical requirements or high-level technical design are defined and documented
- identifies and investigates potential scope changes and other issues related to technical design; provide change request direction for multiple areas of expertise; support the change analysis for design, code and other artifacts

- bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 or more years of related experience
*functional skills*
- knowledge of web, database, and integration technologies and languages, such as cobol, pl/1, db2, sql, and ims
- knowledge of integrated testing
- ability to demonstrate the focus on affordability, innovation and extraordinary customer service
- ability to understand how team work processes provide a line of sight to the customer
*salary*: $38,300.00 - $38,399.00 per month
