about the role

the inside sales representative provides office‐based support to sales engineers and sales managers, ensuring fast, accurate, and proactive service to customers and prospects. You will coordinate information flow, perform contract reviews, manage customer data and project milestones (rfq, ppap, ecr, prototypes), and help the team meet revenue, quality, and on‐time delivery goals.

responsibilities

* coordinate and communicate information across the organization and with customers.
* provide office support to sales engineers/managers in line with sops and operating systems.
* deliver accurate, timely information according to company standards.
* perform contract reviews to validate terms & conditions, pricing accuracy, and engineering approval before entering purchase orders.
* use company project‐management tools to coordinate and track rfqs, ppap, ecrs, prototypes, schedules, and provide proactive status reports through final approvals.
* follow up with customers/prospects on lost orders and maintain the capture rate database.
* serve as the main liaison among manufacturing plants, customers, sales managers/engineers, new product engineering, and other stakeholders.
* support accounts/finance in recovering past‐due receivables when needed.
* research market opportunities and potential customers; maintain databases for market and competitive analysis.
* support new‐business development and information flow across global divisions.
* contribute to short‐ and long‐term departmental objectives; monitor and report progress to targets.
* continuously evaluate systems and procedures to identify improvement opportunities.
* assist sales with travel arrangements, itineraries, scheduling, and prepare/distribute trip reports.
* perform other administrative tasks (approx. 20% of workload).
* record all project files in the designated electronic route and comply with code of conduct, ctpat, and required hse training.

qualifications

* bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or related field.
* 0–3 years of experience in b2b sales and/or customer service.
* advanced english (verbal and written).

required skills

* goal‐ and results‐oriented; high attention to detail and accuracy.
* strong sense of urgency, proactivity, and ability to meet deadlines.
* organization and planning skills; ability to set goals, measure, and report performance.
* excellent verbal and written communication.
* strong computer proficiency, especially microsoft office.

preferred skills

* experience with contract review, rfq/ppap/ecr tracking, and capture‐rate reporting.
* market research and competitive database management.
* cross‐functional coordination with manufacturing, engineering, and finance.
* continuous improvement mindset and comfort evaluating processes/sops.
