Job summarywe are seeking a skilled plc commissioning engineer with experience in industrial automation, plc programming, and commissioning activities. The candidate will be responsible for installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of plc-based control systems for manufacturing and industrial automation projects. Key responsibilities perform commissioning and startup activities for plc, hmi, scada, and automation systems. Develop, modify, and troubleshoot plc programs based on project requirements. Conduct i/o checks, loop testing, fat (factory acceptance test), and sat (site acceptance test). Configure and integrate industrial communication protocols and field devices. Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues during commissioning. Support panel testing, system integration, and field wiring validation. Coordinate with design, electrical, instrumentation, and production teams for project execution. Ensure proper documentation of commissioning reports, test records, and technical changes. Support preventive maintenance and system optimization activities. Ensure compliance with safety standards and industrial automation practices. Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and post-deployment phases. Required skills strong experience in plc programming and commissioning. Hands-on experience with plcs such as siemens, allen bradley, mitsubishi, schneider, or omron. Experience with hmi and scada systems. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as modbus, profibus, profinet, ethernet/ip, can, or opc. Ability to read electrical drawings, control schematics, and p&id diagrams. Experience in troubleshooting automation and control systems. Good understanding of industrial instrumentation and electrical systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and coordination abilities. Preferred qualifications bachelor's/diploma in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, automation, or related field. Experience in manufacturing, automotive, process industry, or industrial automation projects preferred. Knowledge of servo drives, vfds, and robotics integration is an advantage. Good to have experience with mes/industry 4.0 integration. Knowledge of safety plcs and machine safety standards. Exposure to commissioning at customer or plant sites.
