Dupont water & protection is looking for a talented and experienced key account manager to lead one of the highly strategic kevlar® segment across mexico, central america and caribbean (mcac) region. It includes the responsibility for one of the top direct customers globally for the segment, being a global benchmark for product development and market strategy.
This position is in charge of simultaneously managing strategic channel partners (building/accelerating their sales pipeline to achieve company´s revenue targets), as well as developing new opportunities (e.g. prospection, value prop selling, end-user trials and trainings, negotiation and closure)
*key individual accountabilities, may include*:
- implement global and regional commercial strategy in mcac subregion by developing and executing key account plans and strategies for market development
- manage large strategic accounts; building strong relationship at all levels and engaging key stakeholders to drive current sales and develop new opportunities.
- identify and build up robust sales pipeline to drive the sales growth and increase market share
- manage transactional aspects of relationships with direct customers including supply commitments, contracts, price and quality to position us as preferred supplier
- facilitate relationships between all organizational levels of dupont & customer
- manage account receivables, past due and forecast accuracy
- build & nurture healthy sales pipeline in salesforce thru both direct hunting and thru distributors’ sales force
- be knowledgeable on market trends. Provide voice of customer input on key innovations following customer centricity mind
*main requirements*:
- bachelor’s degree in chemistry / engineering / business or marketing (msc or mba is a plus)
- sales experience as “hunter”
- excellent customer management skills with experience in handling large customers.
- ability to work independently and be strategic in thinking. Strong analytical skills to be able to identify opportunities and drive them to deliver business results.
