The statistician/data scientist will be responsible for processing data architecture, handling etl and applying statistical and machine learning methods to solve manufacturing challenges.
key responsibilities:
•design, implement, and refine algorithms to support product quality improvement, yield enhancement, and overall factory efficiency.
•expand modeling capacity by enhancing infrastructure, including automation of data preparation, model training, deployment, and optimization.
•support the integration of models into tools for use by product engineers and business analysts.
•collaborate with users to develop and customize data analytics solutions for specific needs.
•build strong relationships with production line engineers, it teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of analytics initiatives with business goals.
•communicate effectively across cultures and embrace open-minded collaboration in a multinational work environment.
•bachelor's or master's degree in a field with intensive training in quantitative methods, such as statistics, machine learning, computer science, economics, physics, industrial engineering, or operations research.
•research experience or academic background in signal processing, machine learning, statistical inference, optimization, programming & data structures, or algorithms and databases is a strong plus. A strong candidate should demonstrate expertise in at least 1–3 of these areas.
•proficiency in at least one programming language such as r, python, or matlab.
•experience with databases (sql or nosql), such as mysql, postgresql, mongodb, etc.
intermediate or above proficiency in english communication (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
