Introduction
the tech delivery manager / lead oversees end‑to‑end delivery governance for the aws eks and api platform engagement, ensuring consistent execution across architecture, engineering, and operations teams. This role manages scope, staffing, risk, and delivery milestones while acting as the primary interface with stakeholders. The delivery manager drives transition readiness, operational maturity, and high‑quality service performance across platform capabilities.
your role and responsibilities
own end‑to‑end delivery governance for the aws eks and api platform program, ensuring quality, timelines, and successful execution.
serve as the primary point of contact and day‑to‑day counterpart for nextera energy stakeholders, facilitating communication, expectations, and alignment.
manage program scope, resourcing, budgets, risks, issues, deliverables, and critical-path dependencies.
coordinate workstreams across architects, technical leads, engineering teams, and cross‑functional disciplines.
lead transition planning, onboarding, ramp‑up, and operational readiness activities.
oversee on‑call readiness, service performance reporting, and continuous improvement within platform operations.
maintain governance practices, delivery cadence, and progress reporting consistent with ibm delivery frameworks.

required technical and professional expertise
10+ years of program / delivery management experience leading large-scale technology initiatives.
proven experience managing cloud or platform engineering programs, ideally involving aws, kubernetes, or api platforms.
strong stakeholder and executive communication skills, with the ability to lead critical discussions and manage expectations.
hands‑on familiarity with aws, kubernetes, and integration technologies sufficient to govern technical delivery and engage with engineering leadership.
proficiency with itsm (servicenow), jira, and delivery/project governance tools for tracking, reporting, and operational management.
preferred technical and professional experience
experience with platform sre governance, on‑call orchestration, and incident management best practices.
exposure to eks platform architectures, api modernization programs, or cloud‑native operating models.
familiarity with devops workflows, ci/cd pipelines, and platform automation patterns.
background in regulated industry environments (energy & utilities, critical infrastructure).
experience with multi‑vendor or multi‑team delivery coordination in scaled enterprise programs.
