This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial recording, reconciliation, and analysis of import-related transactions that includes duties, freight, broker fees, inventory valuation, and compliance with applicable regulations.record, track, and reconcile all operational documentation against accounting records.support month-end close activities related to import transactions, accruals, and reconciliations.ensure compliance with applicable local, state, federal, and international trade regulations as they relate to financial reporting.maintain clear documentation and audit trails for all import-related accounting activities.assist in preparing reports and analysis related to costs, variances, and identifying trends.support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.identify process improvement opportunities related to import accounting, controls, and reporting.bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.at least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to import accounting, logistics, supply chain, or landed cost accounting.strong understanding of accounting principles related to inventory, accruals, and cost allocation.advanced excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.experience working with erp systems (oracle, sap, or similar preferred).advanced english proficiency (written and verbal).competitive benefits package including major medical insurance and dental insurance for you and your immediate family.~ wonderful citrus is part of the wonderful company, a privately held $6 billion global company dedicated to harvesting health and happiness around the world.
