• primary care and immediate response in first aid, initial assessment of incidents or ailments, patient stabilization, transfer decision (hospital/imss) - does not replace hospital care — only stabilizes the patient.
• occupational health surveillance, medical examinations: pre-employment (if applicable), periodic (according to risk), return to work.
• monitoring of general illnesses that impact work, occupational diseases.
• risk prevention (stps code), identification of health risks.
• evaluation of workplace conditions: ergonomics, lighting, work-related stress, control recommendations.
• incident and accident management: accident registration, cause investigation, trend analysis.
• health and wellness programs such as health campaigns, vaccinations, basic checkups, prevention (diabetes, hypertension).
• member of the safety and hygiene committee: evaluating workstations, ergonomics, and recommendations.
• training: first aid (brigades), use of first aid kits, emergency response. • regulatory compliance and support with applicable regulations
• support during stps audits

qualification requirements
• degree in medicine with relevant experience in occupational health
• solid knowledge of general medicine and occupational health practices, with the ability to apply current regulations and standard
• strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• high level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion meaning
