As accountant working within managed services(one of our entities), you will be responsible for providing senior leadership with accurate financial information by preparing, researching, and analyzing accounts.
*how you make a difference everyday*:
- prepare journal entries
- reconcile balance sheet accounts
- record transactions in the general ledger
- assist in the timely preparation of the monthly financial package
- assist external auditors for the completion of the annual audit by gathering documents, validating account balances and explaining account activity
- provide answers to accounting and financial questions through investigative and analytical methods
- recommend changes to current accounting procedures for increased accuracy and efficiency, when appropriate
- support the accounting team with other related duties, as assigned
*requirements*:
- bachelor’s degree in accounting strongly preferred
- minimum 2 years of experience with account reconciliation and journal entries
- proficiency in microsoft excel
- demonstrated financial analytical ability
- bi-lingual in english/spanish; proficient level for verbal and written communication
- excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- ability to maintain a high degree of discretion when dealing with confidential, proprietary and/or sensitive information and data
this position is full-time monday through friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with an hour break.
