about the position: the asset management role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of the company\'s current and future renewable energy assets, as well as leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role involves a combination of technical, financial, and strategic responsibilities.
responsibilities
* asset performance monitoring: monitor performance of renewable energy assets, including energy production, financial and operational indicators, strategy, and value creation initiatives.
* financial planning and analysis: analyze asset performance data to evaluate financial returns, identify cost-saving opportunities, and inform investment decisions.
* detailed p&l and budget work: prepare, integrate, supervise, forecast, and re-forecast asset budgets and analyze financial statements and operating expense matrices.
* reporting: create and present operational and financial reports for management, the board, equity investors, and debt holders (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).
* credit contract administration: manage rights, obligations, covenants, and related reporting for credit contracts, including dscr and other calculations.
* asset contracts management: oversee land leases, ppas, key suppliers, and related contracts.
* database management: maintain databases on pricing, energy production, market information, and project documents.
* support vdr preparation when necessary (exit, refinancing, etc.).
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, economics, business, energy, or related field; master’s/mba is a plus.
* experience in asset management, financial planning & analysis, or project management in renewable energy.
* strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* experience managing financial/operational contracts (credit agreements, ppas, leases, o&m).
* advanced excel and financial analysis; erp/asset management systems experience is a plus.
* strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to communicate financial/operational information clearly to stakeholders.
* fluent in english; ability to coordinate with international investors or partners.

key responsibilities:
* receive, review, and register supplier invoices in the erp system; ensure correct po and receipt matching.
* verify tax compliance (cfdi, retentions, exchange rate) and internal policies.
* generate periodic aging reports and supplier analyses; follow up on action plans.
* identify continuous improvement opportunities in monthly account analyses.
* support audits with documentation for payments, contracts, invoices, and reconciliations.
* reconcile supplier balances and address clarifications on payments, credit notes, returns, or fx differences.
* collaborate in monthly close by reviewing accounts payable and adjustments.
requirements:

* proficiency in excel, word, powerpoint; sap erp (fi, co, ap, tr) and expense management systems.
