it support analyst is responsible for providing day-to-day technical endpoint hardware and escalation software support using industry best practices while meeting the ongoing technology needs of the organization.
monitor the computing environment (servers, hardware, software, networks, etc).
prepare, install, and monitor the implementation of hardware and software according to business needs and/or regional/global demand.
keep the computing environment updated according to best practices and global/regional guidelines.
provide technical support related to hw/sw to end users, first and second levels.
perform troubleshooting when necessary.
propose solutions.
maintain technical documentation.
participate in setting standards.
empathy, attention, proactivity, and ease of communication with end-users are essential characteristics.

provide end user computing (euc) support primerely to the local site physically and also to the others latam sites remotely when necessary.
responsabilidades / obligaciones
- install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain end-user equipment and software.
- ensure that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, hardware configurations, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved.
- manage and respond to support requests while making proper use of the ticket system to monitor, analyze and resolve support requests.
- analyze client systems and report on functionality and performance.
provide recommendations for improvement.
- maintain data integrity and security for systems.
- act in projects related to endpoint systems.
- create and maintain standard operating procedure documentation (sops).
- assist in the tracking of software licensing and compliance.
- utilize software distribution tools and standard desktop support tools.
- develop training materials and procedures, and/or train users in proper use of hardware and software.
- promotes continuous improvement in the it functions and activities of symrise na and helps assure understanding of our company processes and procedures.
