overview:synchtank is looking for a senior full stack developer to work on our platform's full feature set—from backend services to modern user interfaces. This role requires strong php backend skills combined with proficiency in javascript frameworks like vue. You will contribute to both architecture and execution.
responsibilities:
* develop and maintain full-stack features in a symfony + environment
* work cross-functionally with product and design teams to deliver intuitive ux
* build and extend integrations with third-party platforms and apis
* refactor legacy components and lead modernization projects
* maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation
* stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
* provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
* document development processes, architecture, and standard operating procedures
requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in full-stack development, with 2+ years in symfony and
* proficiency in front-end technologies including html5, css3, javascript, typescript.
* comfortable working with restful apis, mysql, postgressql, and git
* solid understanding of database design, optimization, and query development using mysql and postgressql.
* because the initial scope of this position is to be part of a legacy transformation project, previous experience in microsoft technologies such as, c#, sql server (including stored procedures) is a must, as we are progressing in a major uplift to modern web technologies.
* excellent communication skills (english) and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
* bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* background in music/media tech is a plus.
preferred qualifications:
* knowledge of aws.
* familiarity with devops practices and tools, including ci/cd pipelines.
* understanding of containerization technologies such as docker and kubernetes.
* experience with agile/scrum development methodologies.
