At *cazeta*, we are looking for a talented and detail-oriented *accountant clerk* to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our financial operations by maintaining accurate records, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with company policies. You will contribute to critical financial management processes for our u.s.based clients. This is a remote position based in one of our cazeta offices in *hermosillo, sonora, mexico*, or *ciudad acuña, coahuila, mexico*. An *advanced level of english*is mandatory for effective communication.
*responsibilities*
- record *daily financial transactions* and update the *general ledger* accurately.
- assist in preparing *financial reports*, including *balance sheets* and *income statements*.
- process *invoices* and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- reconcile *accounts* and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- maintain well-organized *filing systems* for financial documents.
- assist in *payroll processing* and related financial functions.
- provide support during *audits* and assist with other accounting duties as needed.
- collaborate with team members to maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
*requirements*:
- *advanced proficiency in english* (verbal and written).
- experience with u.s. based clients is a plus.
- *1-2 years of experience* in accounting or related financial roles.
- strong understanding of *accounting principles* and general ledger management.
- excellent *organizational skills* and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- proficiency in *microsoft office*, particularly excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., quickbooks, sap) is a plus.
- attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external clients.
