the ar analyst will focus on supporting the global order to cash studios businesses by managing accounts receivable.
this role involves handling high-volume accounts receivable data, multiple invoices and titles, and ensuring compliance with corporate ar and credit policies.
you will initiate customer contact to request data, follow up on outstanding information, and report on data status.
you may perform ar analysis, reconciliations, and engage with customers to resolve open balances while maintaining positive relationships.
you will communicate with customers via phone and email to gather information and investigate reasons behind overdue payments, reviewing terms of sale, service, or contracts as necessary.
the role includes accurately recording and maintaining data, reporting on financial status, and documenting collection efforts in the erp system in a timely manner.
you will provide insights and resolutions to receivable issues and contribute to the enhancement and performance of financial systems supporting ar processes.
this position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams within the order-to-cash cycle, internal stakeholders, and customers.

discovery brand.your role accountabilitiesmanage assigned customer portfolios by analyzing, resolving variances, and compiling a list of adjustments with backup documentation.support the collections process to meet or exceed monthly and yearly collection goals through timely invoice resolution and directing cash applications.communicate discrepancies and coordinate corrections with internal teams.
provide updates to senior leadership on payments.communicate complex issues and handle difficult customer invoicing requests to maximize productivity and payment resolution.identify and facilitate resolution with customers for non-payment, including short-pay, credits, and open invoices.
follow up on past-due payments.assist with incoming customer payment allocation requests.
process and reconcile ar and remittances.ensure that collections targets are met or exceeded monthly.
prepare statements of accounts and regularly follow up for payments.build effective global working relationships with internal and external clients, including bpos.maintain contact information and customer-specific instructions for accounts in portfolio and assist with invoice delivery as needed.
initiate customer refund requests.
follow up on remittances and adjustments in payments (e.g., withholding tax and foreign tax exchange issues).
create and analyze ar aging reports.
address payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies.
identify and facilitate improvements in ar processes through technology or procedural improvements.
maintain documentation for compliance reporting and audits.qualifications & experiencesfluent in english2 to 4 years' experience in accounts receivable reconciliations/collectionsbachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field is preferredquick problem solver, team player, good time management skillsexcellent listening, oral, and written communication skillsexperience in sap erp preferredgreat organizational and interpersonal skillshigh level of analytical and problem-solving skillscomplete understanding of the order to cash processworking knowledge of microsoft office products (outlook, word, powerpoint)ability to work independently, creatively, and efficientlyproven track record in meeting deadlinesnot required but preferred experience: experience in the media industry and/or media sales is preferredhow we get things donethis section outlines our guiding principles and core values.
