hi there! We are south and our client is looking for a business development representative (bdr) - outbound (financial advisory).

about the role
our u.s.-based financial advisory client is looking for a bdr to run outbound outreach and book qualified meetings for the founder of the firm. The firm specializes in wealth management and financial planning for high-net-worth expatriates, primarily british professionals living in the united states, helping them manage pensions, investments, and cross-border financial planning.
Your role will focus on identifying and engaging these prospects through linkedin outreach, starting conversations, qualifying interest, and booking meetings directly on the founder’s calendar.
This position begins as a part-time contract (20 hours/week) during the training and ramp-up phase (1–3 months) and may scale to full-time (40 hours/week) based on performance. High performers may transition into a long-term role with the company after the initial 3–6 month trial period.
Responsibilities

run structured outbound campaigns using linkedin sales navigator (approximately 25 outreach messages per day).
Engage prospects through multi-touch linkedin messaging sequences.
Identify and start conversations with high-net-worth expatriate professionals.
Conduct short qualification calls to assess fit and confirm financial profile (typically $500k–$3m+ investable assets).
Book qualified meetings directly on the founder’s calendar.
Track outreach activity, responses, and conversion rates against defined kpis.
Continuously refine messaging and targeting to improve response and booking rates.

Ideal candidate profile

3+ years of experience in an outbound bdr/sdr role with a strong track record of booking meetings through cold outreach.
Excellent written and spoken english with a professional communication style.
Strong experience using linkedin sales navigator for prospecting.
Experience selling financial services such as investments, retirement planning, or wealth management.
Familiarity with international wealth management or pension planning, including areas like uk pensions, 401(k)s, investments, or tax planning.
Experience selling to or qualifying high-net-worth individuals (hnw) is a strong plus.
Familiarity with british culture or british expatriates is a bonus, but not required.

Compensation & growth

base pay: $9–$12/hour depending on experience (approximately $720–$960/month during the part-time phase).
Excellent commission structure: for full-time bdrs, the target is to schedule two qualified meetings per day (10 per week). Consistently meeting this weekly goal can result in earnings of up to $20,000 per month through commission.
Schedule:
monday to friday, 9 am to 1 pm est to start, and then 9 am to 5 pm when switching to full-time.
Start 20 hrs/week during training and ramp-up and then scale to 40 hrs/week once kpis are met.
Perks: 10 days of pto after the six months probationary period.
