this includesleading automation efforts from ideation to implementation, aimingto improve existing production lines and support new productdevelopment initiatives.
- collaborate with the plant maintenancedepartments to oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting ofautomated equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimaldowntime.
- supervise and mentor a team of automation engineers andtechnicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative workenvironment.
- identify opportunities for process optimization andimplement solutions to improve productivity and quality.
- ensureall automation systems comply with industry standards and safetyregulations.
- develop and manage budgets for automation projects,ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- collaborate with sourcing andsupplier quality to work with external vendors and suppliers tosource and integrate new technologies.
- provide regular updatesand reports to senior management on project status, performancemetrics, and areas for improvement.
experience and requirements -bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, automation, or arelated field.
master's degree preferred.
- minimum of 10 years ofexperience in industrial automation, with at least 5 years in amanagerial role.
- responsible to coordinate continuous improvementprojects, quality and cost - proficiency in plc programming, scadasystems, robotics, and other automation technologies.
- strongproject management skills with a proven track record of successfulproject delivery.
- excellent leadership and team managementskills.
- strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- fluentenglish/spanish with effective communication skills, both writtenand verbal is mandatory.
- willingness to travel at least 30% ofthe time.
