Job purposesupports product development and manufacturing readiness for plastic and metal components.ensures designs meet manufacturability, quality, cost, and customer requirements.key responsibilities- conduct dfm reviews for plastics and metals.- review drawings, cad models, and specifications.- support tooling validation (molds, dies, fixtures).- troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.- support npi launches, process validations, and pfmea.- lead quality investigations and support ppap documentation.- communicate with customers and cross-functional teams.- drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.required qualifications- engineering degree (mechanical, industrial, materials).- 3–7 years in plastics/metal manufacturing.- strong dfm, gd&t, cad, spc, pfmea, ppap knowledge.key competencies- problem solving- technical expertise- collaboration & communication- customer focus- attention to detail
