te connectivity's distribution & logistics teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from origin to customer, meeting requirements and business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions like operations, purchasing, and logistics, and focus on continuous improvement of material movement through production processes, establishing key performance metrics to measure performance against goals.
responsibilities
* execute outbound, inbound, and local logistics operations.
* plan and release the dc daily workload.
* schedule local and international freight carriers via tms portals.
* arrange dedicated units for urgent requests.
* monitor deliveries from origin to destination end-to-end.
* manage on-time delivery for oems.
* coordinate with customs to ensure smooth material flow.
* plan daily export units.
* support warehouse operations and assist the shipping team.
* adhere to te, ehs, and global logistics policies.
* execute virtual exportations.
* analyze and monitor daily inventory, receiving, and shipping kpis.
* implement continuous improvements in dc processes.
candidate profile
* bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business management, international trade, or related logistics field.
* minimum 3 years of logistics experience.
* customer service experience in the automotive industry; oem experience is a plus.
* experience in logistics planning, import/export processes, and 3pl management.
* knowledge of cross-docking, sap or erp systems, and advanced excel skills.
* proficient in english (advanced level).
* strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
* self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
* effective team-building and leadership skills, especially with third-party warehouse teams.
* proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage organizational tasks.
* strong problem-solving skills and data analysis capabilities.
* experience in large, global organizations and working with third-party logistics providers.
