as a dram engineering group (deg) engineering execution manager at micron technology, inc., you will collaborate with the various engineering and manufacturing groups to ensure that our products meet the functional, quality, reliability, and yield requirement thresholds needed to transition from development to volume production. Gauge risk and options for decision-making and use decisive action to resolve issues. You will also work with marketing and planning to ensure product availability for early customer sample demands. Tasks within this role can be as varied as creating and communicating schedules to helping to debug product issues.

please note this is not a people manager role. You'll be managing programs/projects, and product cycle and considered a lead.
responsibilities:
act as single dram engineering group point of contact for a given product
create and maintain engineering activity timelines for dram npi
prepare engineering schedule for new dram products
work with design engineering to identify and mitigate project risks and develop reticle strategy.
coordinate and facilitate meetings (status updates, fab, design teams, etc.)
work with process integration engineering (pie), node development, technology development, etc. teams to develop cutting edge memory technology products.
lead the pre-silicon checklists completion to set the team up for a successful 1st si dram execution.
develop demand plans to ensure cross functional teams have dram and modules available for validation and qual activities.
collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure product yield goals are achieved.
work with manufacturing teams to ensure resources are available (probe cards, substrates, package part trays, tester handler kits, etc.)
assist engineering teams to debug and identify root cause for failures.
assist engineering teams to implement fixes for fails (design or process)
work with our internal system compatibility team to ensure module compatibility check completion.
work with probe, dram/module test teams to modify programs for specific product requirements.
work with global quality (gq) teams on customer returns to identify new tests. Work with qa to ensure reliability.
monitor yields and verify that yields meet projections.
create and deliver presentations; publish regular product updates and present to management team members
inform planning and marketing on product availability issues.
drive strategy to support customers balancing product readiness, quality and business needs.
strategize and collaborate with program managers on developing engineering roadmaps for future products to deliver leadership products.
coordinate and facilitate meetings (status updates, fab, design teams, etc.)
act as single dram engineering group point of contact for a product to drive internal qualification and customer ramp up of dram and modules.
minimum qualifications:
bsee / bsce, msee/mscs or equivalent
10+ years of experience in design/verification engineering, product engineering, or product development.
advance english
product, design, yield improvement, quality/reliability or related engineering fields.
excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
excellent communication and presentation skills.
comfortable working with and driving multi-functional teams within a matrixed organization
