We are looking for a dynamic marketing manager to lead the execution of our pr and influencer marketing strategy, strengthening our cultural authority and continuing to grow the headwear category as a daily fashion statement across the region.
role overview:
we are seeking a pr & influencer marketing who will be responsible for executing the communication strategy for new era in latam. This individual will play a key role in expanding cap culture, strengthening the brand's cultural relevance, and driving measurable business impact through pr, influencer marketing, and storytelling.
the ideal candidate combines strong execution capabilities with cultural awareness and a commercial mindset, ensuring all communication efforts translate into product desirability, consumer engagement, and sell-out across channels.
key responsibilities:
* execute the pr & influencer marketing strategy across latam, ensuring alignment with new era's brand values and commercial objectives.
* develop and implement communication plans for product launches, collaborations, and key cultural and sports moments.
* design and execute influencer marketing strategies across culture, fashion, sports, and community segments, positioning influencers as cultural storytellers of the brand.
* identify, manage, and build relationships with key creators, talent, and cultural figures relevant to new era's positioning.
* lead product seeding strategies with a storytelling approach, ensuring alignment with brand narratives and key launches.
* manage relationships with key media outlets across culture, fashion, sports, and digital platforms to secure impactful editorial coverage.
* execute pr strategies for launches, collaborations, and events, ensuring consistency and cultural relevance.
* build and manage a monthly pr & influencer calendar aligned with product drops, marketing campaigns, and key commercial moments.
* collaborate closely with digital, retail, and product teams to ensure all communication efforts drive traffic, engagement, and conversion.
* utilize data and performance insights to evaluate campaigns, optimize execution, and report on key metrics.
* stay current with cultural trends, influencers, and media landscapes to ensure new era remains at the forefront of culture in latam.
qualifications and skills:
* 4–7 years of experience in pr, influencer marketing, or brand communications.
* experience in fashion, lifestyle, cultural, or sports brands is highly desirable.
* strong understanding of the media and influencer ecosystem in mexico and latam.
* proven ability to execute campaigns that combine storytelling with measurable business impact.
* fluency in english and spanish, both written and verbal.
* strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
