Job overview:
as a key account manager for pet nutrition, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships with veterinary clinics and hospitals to drive sales growth, improve product mix, and enhance market share. You will also be responsible for promoting and merchandising our pet diets, educating customers on their economic and nutritional value, and contributing to pets' well-being by endorsing our products.
your responsibilities will include managing customer relationships, building sales and volume, improving product offerings, and executing business strategies to drive revenue growth. You will also be responsible for rolling out new product launches, detailing products to clinic staff, and increasing in-store presence and market leadership.
to succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication, relationship building, and presentation skills, as well as strong selling abilities, time management, planning, and budgeting competencies. A passion for pets and a desire to grow and build a territory are essential qualities for this position.

key responsibilities:

preferred qualifications:
* doctorate of veterinary medicine (dvm)
* at least 2 years sales experience or
* at least 2 years vet hospital experience or
* recent commercial internship or
* sales experience in animal health
* certified veterinary technician-navta
