partner with the bestas a lead mechanical design engineer, you will be responsible for:creating drill bit design and manufacturing packages utilizing 3-d modeling and data management systemsinterfacing with field, manufacturing, and technology groups to improve product performance and process efficiencydocumenting and sharing lessons learned, with cross functional groupssupporting manufacturing with problem solving and issue resolutionconducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, and applicable processes for hse, quality, legal compliance and cultural pillarsfuel your passionto be successful in this role you will:have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college5+ years relevant experience in a mechanical engineering rolehave experience with 3d cad systems - eg siemens nxbe familiar with product data management systems - eg teamcenterhave experience with simulations software for finite element analysis & computational fluid dynamicsbe able to select engineering techniques and utilize analysis tools to solve problems and makes sound design recommendationsbe familiar with mechanical component designs and applied methodsdrive consistent usage of product design standards (and support updates)may be the lead on engineering projects with some functional supervisionfluent in english, for both oral and writtenwork in a way that works for youwe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
