With a strong focus on precision engineering and innovation, the company delivers cutting-edge electronic components to global clients, ensuring both reliability and efficiency.
As part of their commercial expansion strategy, they are seeking a Business Developer of America to strengthen their presence across the automotive and industrial sectors. This role will report directly to the Plant Manager and will play a pivotal role in prospecting new markets, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across the Americas.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategy
- Define and execute the marketing and commercial strategy for the Americas.
- Promote the company’s capabilities in the Automotive and Industrial markets.
- Monitor and analyze targeted markets, competitors (EMS, ODM, design offices), and new trends.
- Identify key challenges and assess feasibility of new projects under profitability conditions.
Prospection & Sales
- Identify, qualify, and approach new prospects.
- Negotiate business opportunities and establish long-term partnerships.
- Initiate commercial relationships with new customers and ensure strong follow-up.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage NDAs, commercial offers, quotations, and contracts.
- Participate in international trade fairs, symposiums, and industry events.
Account & Pipeline Management
- Manage RFQs (Request for Quotations) and ensure timely responses.
- Provide regular updates to the commercial database (weekly opportunities and quote tracking).
- Support or monitor activities of KAMs or the Sales Manager when required.
Compliance & Travel
- Ensure strict compliance with company’s ethics, quality, environment, and safety policies.
- Regularly travel across the Americas and occasionally to other company sites worldwide.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in Business, Management, or Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in business development or international sales.
- Previous participation in international exhibitions is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong market analysis and negotiation skills.
Language Skills
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Spanish or French is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Initiative and proactivity.
