Overview
manager hr business partner at vertiv. The hrbp role will be a trusted strategic consultant to the leadership team in all areas of hr including organizational development, workforce planning, change management, complex employee relations, reward and recognition, talent management and cultural change to achieve a high-performance culture.
Location: mexico city metropolitan area
responsibilities
employee relations: foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and facilitating effective communication between employees and management. Handling union related issues.
Talent acquisition: oversee recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. Collaborate with ta team to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
Training and development: identify training needs, develop training programs, and facilitate employee development initiatives. Ensure compliance with training requirements of vos, iso, oshas, ems.
Performance management: support managers/employees in setting performance goals and guide them in providing feedback and coaching to employees.
Compliance: ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations pf, esic, factory, labour, mpcb, fire etc. Maintain accurate hr records and ensure confidentiality.
Compensation and benefits: support to compensation and benefits teams, including payroll, health insurance, and retirement plans. Communicate benefits information to employees.
Health and safety: collaborate with the plant's health and safety team to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in safety, 6’s audits, and support safety training initiatives. Esg initiatives.
Hr strategy: work with senior leadership to develop and implement hr strategies that align with business goals. Provide input on workforce planning and organizational development.
Employee engagement: organize employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, sports day, festival celebrations, monthly communication, and recognition programs, to foster a positive workplace culture.
Reward & recognition: promote healthy competitions and appreciations; implement on spot awards, best line awards and many more.
Hr metrics: collect and analyse hr data to measure key metrics, such as employee turnover and absenteeism. Use data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Manpower planning: plan to meet production requirements; recruit resources in time, including temps and apprentices.
Building culture: initiate innovative ideas to build a promising culture towards a sustainable future, including diversity & inclusion, morning exercise, monthly open communication forum, on spot awards, safety circle, etc.
Time office management: manage day-to-day attendance records, lms for associates, trainee & apprentices; handle ot calculations.
Qualifications
bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of relevant experience as hrbp.
Previous hrbp experience for the commercial area, leading and implementing talent management & talent development strategies.
Experience in root cause analysis for talent retention and developing action plans to support talent strategy.
Experience working in a matrixed organizational environment across multiple business units.
Broad understanding of labor laws and union experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically to identify opportunities for improvement.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
