as an indirect supply chain - capex ford champ, you will be responsible of s upport the end-to-end procurement lifecycle by sourcing suppliers, managing contracts, and analyzing financial data to drive cost savings. Coordinate cross-functional communication among engineering, operations, and finance while tracking supplier performance and kpi metrics. Monitor market trends to identify innovation opportunities and ensure seamless, on-time project execution.
responsibilities
what you´ll do:
* sourcing support: assist in market research and the identification/qualification of new machinery and tool installation suppliers.
* contract administration: support the drafting, reviewing, and tracking of contracts and service level agreements (slas).
* supplier coordination: help maintain supplier relationships by scheduling meetings and documenting performance reviews.
* data analysis: gather pricing data and assist in cost-comparison and savings-tracking reports.
* process monitoring: support the end-to-end procurement lifecycle by tracking requisitions through to project execution.
* stakeholder alignment: coordinate communication and meetings between engineering, operations, and finance teams.
* kpi reporting: assist in collecting data for procurement performance dashboards and management reports.
* market research: stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to support team innovation.
qualifications
what you´ll need:
* active student from any of the last 2 semesters of engineering (industrial, mechanical, etc.) or business administration.
* 90% english skills (oral, reading, writing, and listening)
* strong analytical and communication skills
* industry interest: a genuine passion for the automotive industry and emerging manufacturing technologies.
* financial & analytical acumen: strong interest in finance, cost analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
* supply chain focus: a clear desire to build a career in supply chain and strategic sourcing.
* relationship management: natural interest in networking and managing supplier relationships.
* technical skills: proficiency in microsoft office, with an emphasis on excel (for data analysis) and powerpoint (for presentations).
* soft skills: highly organized, proactive, and able to collaborate across multifunctional teams (engineering, finance, and operations).
