Business plane logistics an international company specialized in time critical shipments worldwide, with its headquarters based in kishinev, it is looking for a motivated individual who is ready to put their problem-solving skills to work.
- investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, taking into account cost, transit time and security
- established a good relationship with clients and suppliers
- creating quote and negotiating with the customer in order to provide the best solution for his needs.
- negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs
- obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with other countries' regulations and fiscal regimes
- collection of payment on behalf of the client
- arranging air transport for urgent and high-value freight and managing the risk door-to-door
- acting as broker in customs negotiations worldwide to guide the freight efficiently through complex procedures
- dealing with special arrangements for transporting delicate cargoes, such as livestock and medical supplies
- arranging couriers and specialist for the hand-carry services
- maintaining communication and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports and statistical and unit-cost analysis
- managing and keeping the customer update for each step of the shipment
- maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations and other factors that could affect the movement of freight.
specific education & experience requirements:
- english level (c1) at least
- high attention to details and follow standard procedure
- ability to plan, prioritize and complete assignments within deadlines
- previuos experience in logistics is a plus
