*responsibilities*:
*1*planning and execution of assigned npi products (75%)*:
- plan, review and execute characterization plans and reports, schedules, and hardware requirements.
- define, integrate, and implement product-specific optical/electrical characterization test benches—bringing together test equipment, pcb hardware, software, and fixtures as needed.
- bring up and develop repeatable and reliable automation solutions (python, visa, data processing).
- analyze results in real time.
- execute plans and meet schedules by prioritizing tasks effectively and managing competing deadlines.
- generate data sets and reports.
- review results with the core team and handle follow-up actions.
- proactively assess the quality of the product and results.
- work closely with other teams, both locally and at other sites (corner lot planning, ate testing, data analysis, reporting, coordinating testing at other locations, etc.).
- debug issues and develop solutions using a solid foundation in electronics and signal integrity.
*2. Tool and process development (15%)*:
- contribute to python automation and the team’s characterization repository.
- add and improve automated test methods, equipment classes and post-processing techniques.
- drive continuous improvement in quality through signal integrity work.
- adopt ai as a daily basis tool to boost efficiency.
*3. Self-development (5%)*:
- *actively develop skills and knowledge in relevant areas—like new test equipment, electronics, signal integrity, automation/programming, standards, packaging, connections, company processes, tools, etc.*
*4. Mentoring (5%)*:
mentor and help develop more junior or less experienced team members.
