Warehouse operations manager
the warehouse operations manager oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards. This includes receiving, storage, distribution, maintenance, and inventory control systems.
main responsibilities:
* supervise and support daily warehouse operations according to company policies and safety standards.
* implement inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and ensure accurate counts.
* support the budgeting process by tracking expenses and identifying efficiency opportunities.
* coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for timely, accurate deliveries; work with procurement and fleet teams.
* enforce safety standards and ehs policies, organize safety trainings, and maintain a safe work environment.
* assist with the use and adoption of warehouse management technologies (wms, rfid, barcoding).
* recommend improvements using lean methodology and best practices.
requirements:
* bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain management, administration, or related field.
* warehouse management certification desirable.
* 2-3 years of experience supervising warehouse operations or warehouse teams.
* solid experience applying genban, 5s, lean manufacturing, or six sigma methodologies.
* conversational english.
* proficiency in microsoft office and warehouse management systems; erp experience is a plus.
