Position overview
we are looking for a senior sales executive based in mexico, with strong commercial experience in the local market. The primary responsibility of this role is to execute the commercial strategy already defined by the team and to activate the prioritized commercial relationships for 2025–2026, including premium retailers, concept stores, hotels, spas, and marketplaces.
the ideal candidate has proven experience in sales within mexico, especially managing amazon mexico, mercado libre mexico, and premium retail channels such as liverpool, palacio de hierro, sephora, among others.
key responsibilities
● execute the commercial strategy defined by the leadership team.
● activate, manage, and follow up on the commercial relationships already identified in the sales pipeline.
● lead commercial meetings, presentations, and negotiations with priority retailers.
● manage day-to-day operations of amazon seller central mexico and mercado libre mexico, including catalog updates, pricing, inventory, promotions, and performance tracking.
● ensure the commercial and operational onboarding of new points of sale.
● track sales kpis, margins, moqs, replenishment needs, and sales forecasts.
● coordinate with the marketing team on retailer-driven activations (events, pop-ups, co-branded campaigns).
● monitor inventory levels and replenishment needs in collaboration with supply/logistics.
● prepare weekly and monthly performance and pipeline reports.
requirements
● mexican nationality and current residency in mexico (mandatory).
● 5+ years of proven experience in sales or commercial development in the mexican market.
● strong, hands-on experience managing amazon seller central mexico and mercado libre mexico (required).
● experience negotiating with premium retailers and department stores (liverpool, sephora, palacio de hierro, etc.).
● deep understanding of commercial processes: margins, moqs, contracts, onboarding.
● intermediate to advanced english (not mandatory, but highly valued).
● excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
● availability for in-person meetings in mexico city and occasional travel within the country.
