Purpose
this role is crucial for coordinating and implementing projects aimed at improving marketing processes and tools, enhancing the company's digital presence, and supporting the marcomm team in executing the annual marketing communications plans. The intern will work closely with the bu marcomm leads and the director of strategic marketing to ensure consistent and impactful communication across all channels.
main responsibilities
* support the execution of corporate and bu-level marketing communications plans.
* assist in the coordination of digital campaigns, including social media calendars, newsletters, and website updates.
* help manage internal platforms such as sharepoint and intranet content.
* collaborate with external agencies and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of creative assets.
* contribute to the creation of visual and written content for digital and offline channels.
* participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on brand messaging and project timelines.
* assist in organizing internal and external events, webinars, and promotional activities.
* maintain and update digital asset libraries and editorial calendars.
knowledge and experience requiered
* currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
* fluent in english (mandatory); proficiency in spanish and a third language is highly appreciated.
* strong written and verbal communication skills.
* ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and cross-functional team.
* detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
* familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., adobe creative suite, canva).
* experience or interest in digital marketing platforms and ai-based tools.
* basic knowledge of social media management and analytics.
* proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
