the global contracting and controlling manager manages it/ot contracts, software licensing, and cost controlling activities across the distribution transformer organisation. The role combines strategic contract governance with financial oversight, working closely with procurement, controlling, legal, and it stakeholders. Daily activities include vendor negotiations, licence compliance monitoring, budget tracking, risk assessment, and management reporting. The position operates in a global, cross‑functional environment with a strong focus on transparency, compliance, and cost optimisation.
how you’ll make an impact
* lead the full lifecycle of it/ot contracts, including negotiation, execution, renewal, and termination.
* manage and optimise software licensing models to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.
* control and monitor it/ot budgets, costs, and financial performance within the dt ds department.
* govern vendor performance through kpis, slas, audits, and structured relationship management.
* ensure compliance with internal policies, procurement regulations, and legal requirements.
* provide transparent controlling reports and insights to support management decision‑making.
what you bring
* master’s degree in economics, law, information technology, or a related discipline.
* at least 5 years of experience in it/ot contract management, licensing, procurement, or controlling in a global environment.
* strong knowledge of it/ot contract lifecycles, licensing models, and vendor ecosystems.
* proven ability to negotiate complex agreements and manage strategic suppliers.
* advanced analytical, risk assessment, and financial controlling skills.
* fluent business english with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
