the pmo / delivery lead is responsible for planning, governing, and driving execution of programs and projects to ensure on‐time, on‐budget, and high‐quality delivery. This role provides structure, transparency, and control across portfolios, supports leadership decision‐making, and ensures alignment between business objectives, delivery teams, and stakeholders.
key responsibilities
program & delivery management
* plan, track, and govern programs and large-scale initiatives across multiple workstreams.
* ensure delivery adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality commitments.
* drive dependency management, milestone tracking, and delivery sequencing.
* proactively identify risks and issues; own mitigation and escalation process.
pmo governance & controls
* establish and maintain pmo standards, processes, and templates.
* drive consistent use of project management practices (agile, waterfall, hybrid).
* maintain raid logs, integrated plans, and delivery dashboards.
* ensure compliance with governance, audit, and reporting requirements.
stakeholder & leadership management
* serve as primary coordination point between business, it, vendors, and leadership.
* provide clear, executive-level status reporting (progress, risks, dependencies, financials).
* facilitate steering committee meetings and decision forums.
* manage expectations and resolve delivery-related conflicts.
financial & resource management
* track program financials: budget, forecasts, burn rates, and variances.
* support resource planning, capacity tracking, and allocation across initiatives.
* highlight cost risks and support corrective actions.
delivery enablement & continuous improvement
* support teams with planning cadence, release tracking, and delivery readiness.
* drive standardization and continuous improvement across delivery execution.
* capture lessons learned and promote best practices.
