production manager
objective:
lead, plan and manage human resources, materials, equipment and production systems to ensure compliance with the plant's operational objectives in terms of safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity. Ensure efficient, continuous and customer-oriented operation, promoting continuous improvement, talent development and compliance with netafim's global standards.
requirements:
industrial engineering, mechanics, manufacturing or related career.
master's degree in production, operations, quality or related areas desirable.
minimum 5 years of experience in leadership positions within manufacturing.
experience managing production, assembly and industrial operations processes.
knowledge of lean manufacturing, six sigma and iso *.
advanced english.
management of sap, mes, qlikview and microsoft office.
experience in budget management, performance indicators, and continuous improvement.
experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing operational and supervisory staff.
essential responsibilities and duties:
execute the mrp (material requirements planning) daily to effectively follow up on customer orders and production orders, ensuring delivery on the committed date.
lead the plant's production operations, including extrusion and non-extrusion processes, ensuring compliance with the established objectives.
develop and execute the master production plan aligned with the business requirements and customer needs.
ensure compliance with key performance indicators (kpis) related to safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and delivery.
direct and coordinate the activities of supervisors and production leaders, establishing priorities, expectations and action plans.
implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimize resources.
ensure compliance with netafim's global quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
analyze operational results, identify deviations, and lead corrective and preventive actions.
actively participate in continuous improvement and operational transformation projects.
develop training, coaching, and leadership strengthening programs for production teams.
coordinate with the logistics, materials, quality, engineering and maintenance areas to ensure the continuity of the operation.
manage operating budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources, materials, and labor.
monitor compliance with corporate policies, operating procedures, and industrial safety standards.
promote a culture of high performance, teamwork, responsibility and results orientation.
present operational results, project progress and action plans to plant management and regional leadership.

experience in production planning and control, including creation and scheduling of production and/or assembly orders.
