Our team handles operational risks related to personal and sensitive information assets. We continuously assess operations and develops policies, procedures and training; we execute projects, and we support the business on new initiatives involving personal data. *_primary responsibilities _*
- _in this role, you will collaborate with our privacy director and internal f5 teams to develop and implement data privacy policies and procedures on the collection, use and sharing of personally identifiable information._
- _be responsible for creating, updating, or maintaining f5 privacy internal policies, processes, and procedures._
- _lead privacy analyst_
- _support technical improvement of our privacy management system._
- _partner with the business to conduct privacy impact assessments for vendors and ropa reviews._
- _maintain up to date knowledge on global privacy regulations._
- _be proactive to propose new initiatives and creative ideas to improve the privacy program._
- _responsible for upholding f5’s business code of ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the code or other company policies._
- _performs other related duties as assigned._
- *knowledge, skills and abilities *_
- _good work ethic and the capacity to fulfil responsibilities with limited supervision while maintaining effective communications with relevant internal partners. This includes researching, resolving, developing, evaluating and implementing effective solutions._
- _able to review and evaluate the effectiveness of the privacy program._
- _perform fact finding, review privacy issues and drive privacy compliance controls._
- _can identify, research, investigate and evaluate known and potential privacy and compliance risks across our business._
- _professional knowledge of privacy risk assessments and can conduct related ongoing compliance monitoring activities. Maintains an ongoing plan to address and close privacy gaps._
- _capability to assess key business objectives, development concepts, proposed information collections, technology changes, and other initiatives being undertaken by f5 and can ensure implementation of privacy controls._
- _strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability collaborate with key partners on privacy issues, draft and implement privacy policies, procedures and requirements and maintain proper documentation, relevant records in a clear fashion._
*_qualifications_*
- _bachelor’s degree and progressive experience in compliance, privacy, data protection, security, risk management and/or auditing, or substantial relevant professional work experience._
- _solid grasp of global privacy laws and regulations._
- _skills in collaboration and teamwork along with facilitation, analytical, communication (written and spoken), presentation, partner management skills._
- _a cipp certification required._
*_physical demands and work environment_*
- _duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table._
- _duties will utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material._
- _duties may mean being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)._
