planning and coordinating the production processes of the site/terminal, based on an efficient management of resources, optimization of the capacity and ensuring quality standards to comply with production levels set out in planning and address of the company.
responsible for budget control of the site and proper management of resources, aiming to optimize operations and reduce costs per ton.
management and supervision of all areas of the plant, warehouse management (production, maintenance, inventory and quality control).
optimize the storage and bagging capacity of the site accurately to fulfil the requirements of the business plan defined by the commercial area (direct product and physical mixtures).
maintain inventory accuracy and good storage practices.
lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives in the frame of lean, yara operations standards and performance indicators.
liaise with planning department to meet market demand on time and at lowest logistic costs.
management and control of contractors and partners involved in site operations.
ensure that any and all modifications, improvements or changes are fully considered within the context of change management – all such activities to be carried out according to the protocols set out within local project and change management procedures.
assist the execution of prioritised capex projects to ensure continuity of operation within yara standards in the site.
owner of the performance management programme (follow‐up of kpis and adherence of cyclical meetings in the site).
work closely with stakeholders such as procurement, hesq, planning, logistics, controlling and commercial area.
ensure that all safety‐related incidents, accidents, environmental breaches or near‐misses are reported immediately and that details are accurately recorded.
know and comply with the policy, safety principles, guidelines and hesq standards established by the company, based on the safe by choice philosophy, as well as the applicable legal requirements and other requirements defined in the matrix of hesq responsibilities, associated with the position/role.
bilingual.
experience in maintenance for facilities & industrial equipment.
sap knowledge intermediate level as minimum.
5–7 years of management experience in an industrial environment with demonstrated capacity & ability to implement continuous improvement systems and programs efficiently.
~ relevant experience managing operations with financial results analysis.
~ generation and analysis of executive reports.
~ advanced knowledge of office software.
