Key responsibilities as engineering manager
collaborate with the leadership team in the definition of strategic objectives and key results.
oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to drive strategic decisions.
develop and monitor key performance indicators (kpis) to measure impact in core products and identify opportunities for improvement.
develop and maintain robust analytics functions using the edenred data platform and market tools like power bi, ensuring that the team supports and optimizes them.
lead and develop a team of support engineers and developers (.net and mulesoft), in collaboration with other technical leaders, to support core products objectives.
responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of squad's processes to ensure efficient and reliable interaction between external partners or local business units and edenred solutions.
collaborate with product management, partnerships, design, customer success and engineering to drive impact across core products solutions.
stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in payment solutions and methods.
experience required
bachelor's or master degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
minimum of 5 years of experience in api development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (techlead or engineering manager).
skills
strong understanding api concepts (rest/soap) with hands-on experience in developing, optimizing and designing apis.
familiar with the newest infrastructure trends in cloud (azure or similar), observability (appinsights, datadog or similar), devops and site reliability engineering concepts.
proven experience working within projects based on apis with the target to align to the latest market trends and technologies.
excellent leadership and team management skills.
proven ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
understanding market practices, processes and activities for payment solutions
experience working within a cross-functional, product-led company that places value on coaching and servant leadership.
a goal-oriented person, preferably with experience in working with, and driving okrs (or other management frameworks).
a critical thinker who can break complex problems into their simplest components.
