Job description general objective responsible for developing and managing nldc maintenance job plan, leading and coordinating maintenance and calibration schedules for the process equipment and facility, including planning preventive maintenance tasks (pms), corrective maintenance (repairs), prioritizing work orders and ensuring efficient use of resources to minimize downtime, overall equipment efficiency (oee) and maintaining/reporting key performance indicators (kpi). All of this, working closely with maintenance technicians and supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities across a facility. Responsibilities scheduling and planning create and maintain preventive maintenance schedules based on equipment criticality and manufacturer recommendations. Develop work orders for corrective maintenance tasks, including detailed instructions and required parts. Prioritize work orders based on urgency, cost, and impact on production. Allocate maintenance tasks to technicians based on their skills and availability. Data analysis and reporting monitor equipment performance through maintenance history records. Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and potential issues. Generate reports on maintenance costs, downtime, and equipment reliability. Equipment management (assets) maintain accurate asset records and documentation. Identify and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements based on maintenance data. Collaboration and communication work closely with maintenance technicians to ensure smooth execution of maintenance tasks. Coordinate with operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production. Communicate maintenance plans and updates to relevant stakeholders. Cost management estimate costs for maintenance activities, including labor and parts. Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance costs. Manage maintenance budgets and track expenses. Skills technical understanding of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and maintenance practices. Analytical ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions about maintenance strategies. Planning and scheduling proficiency in creating and managing complex maintenance schedules. Communication effective communication with technicians, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination. Computer proficiency familiarity with cmms (computerized maintenance management systems) software to manage work orders and track maintenance data. Other skills effective communication proactive teamwork oriented schedule availability sense of urgency safety oriented. Able to work under pressure experience a minimum of five (3) years in an industrial maintenance environment. Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling. Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sterilization preferred. Bachelor or associate degree (ingeniero o tecnólogo).
