Overview
join the lego group as an equipment/materials coordinator at our lego operaciones de mexico manufacturing factory in cienega de flores, nl. This role supports daily production operations, improves performance on the daily production plan, and implements learning through play in your job. The position exists to administer information and reports of the materials and equipment area across 4 shifts, guiding staff and ensuring policy compliance.
core responsibilities
* track and update kpis on time and secure adequate resources to accomplish the production plan.
* respond efficiently to changes in production plans and ensure safety, quality, and cost targets in the moulding materials and equipment area.
* provide daily team performance information for materials and equipment and participate in daily production meetings.
* participate in lean activities related to the area (pps, rie, dmaics, cpt).
* manage production floor in the supervisor’s absence; provide support, demonstrate leadership on qehs in your area.
* comply with global and local process guidelines to meet ohsas 18001, iso 14001 & iso 9001 requirements.
* deliver on time and schedule environmental care processes, including waste handling, recycling, and efficient resource use; report missing materials and contribute continuous improvement ideas focused on environmental care.
qualifications
* industrial, mechanical engineering or similar background.
* 2 years of experience in manufacturing (plastic-related desirable) with basic administrative experience.
* strong understanding of production processes; proactive, with problem-solving, verbal and written communication, analytical skills, and leadership.
* pc proficiency and office skills.
* english: intermediate level.
