Qualifications and skills
- a bachelor’s degree in international trade, supply chain management, logistics, customs administration, or a related field.
- certification in customs brokerage or trade compliance may be beneficial
- typically, 3-5 years of experience in customs operations, logistics, or a related field.
- experience in a supervisory or leadership role is often required
- proficiency in customs clearance software and systems (e.g., asycuda, ace, or other customs automation tools).
- knowledge of hs codes, tariff classifications, and export/import documentation.
