We are seeking a detail-oriented imports & exports assistant to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will assist with documentation, coordination, and communication related to international shipments, ensuring smooth and timely movement of goods across borders.
key responsibilities:
* assist in preparing and processing import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
* coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
* monitor shipments and update internal systems with status and tracking information.
* support compliance with customs regulations and international trade policies.
* communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues or delays.
* maintain organized records of all transactions and shipments.
requirements:
* previous experience in logistics, international trade, or related field preferred.
* familiarity with import/export regulations and documentation is a plus.
* excellent organizational and communication skills.
* strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
* proficiency in microsoft office (excel, word, outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
