You will play a critical role in building a resilient, competitive, and future-ready supply base, driving cost optimization, strengthening supplier partnerships, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure supply stability and performance excellence in a dynamic ems environment. This role requires strong market expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence globally.responsibilities: lead strategic procurement of electronic components and assemblies for series production and new projects, identifying and executing cost optimization initiatives. Define and implement global commodity strategies aligned with business objectives. Ensure achievement of commercial, cost, and performance targets for your assigned portfolio. Manage and develop global supplier relationships, including qualification, onboarding, performance management, and continuous improvement. Conduct international negotiations and establish supply agreements on a global scale. Act as a key interface between engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing to optimize component strategies and material fields. Monitor market trends, supplier landscapes, and technology developments to proactively adjust sourcing strategies. Secure long-term supply chain stability and actively mitigate risks within your commodity portfolio.what your profile should look like: you combine strong electronics market knowledge with strategic procurement expertise and a global mindset. Degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in an ems (electronics manufacturing services) environment. Solid experience with pcbs, pcbas, and smt technologies. Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost-optimization methodologies. Deep knowledge of the electronics market, including supplier landscapes, market dynamics, and industry trends. Advanced english skills; mandarin chinese is a strong plus. High level of initiative and ability to drive topics independently in a global environment.
