1. support the operation of stations and gateways on-site by analyzing and developing improvement initiatives, and executing plans using pdca or dmaic methodologies.
2. collaborate with the field engineering area to provide technical training to personnel in workshops, seminars, and on-the-job training sessions in areas such as operations management, contingency planning, productivity, cost-effectiveness, and manpower scheduling.
3. monitor productivity, service, and cost performance across all operational areas and assist personnel in implementing necessary changes.
4. maintain communication between operations and corporate departments to provide technical expertise related to facility requests, including lease terminations, new locations, five-year planning, equipment justification, layout, vehicle planning, and cost justification.
5. assist in studies designed to implement sound, innovative engineering concepts into operations to benefit clients and their customers.
6. prepare management information systems to aid in controlling and developing operational goals.
7. participate in special staff support projects.
8. e nsure that operating plans comply with safety and legal standards.
required skills and qualifications
* industrial engineer or industrial and systems engineer degree.
* english language proficiency with at least 650 toeic or 550 toefl.
* desirable additional knowledge in: six sigma, lean manufacturing, iso9001 or other iso norms, supply chain or logistics.
experience
* at least two years of experience working as an operations engineer in manufacturing or services, supporting operations roles such as quality engineer, operations engineer, process engineer, or continuous improvement engineers.
* experience in implementing and managing kpis like productivity and efficiency.
* developing procedures and operative manuals.
* mapping and analyzing processes.
* preparing and presenting reports.
* performing cost and benefit analysis.
* training operational and administrative personnel.
* experience in time and movements analysis, line balancing, or route calculation.
* leading root cause analysis initiatives using tools like pareto, ishikawa, trend analysis, etc.
* high proficiency in excel, including formulas, dynamic charts, and macros.
